Yarn Atelier Pumpkin Hunt Terms & conditions
1. Promoter and acceptance
This promotion is organised by Knitfam LTD (company number 16469738), trading as Yarn Atelier, of 311 Chase Road, London N14 6JS, United Kingdom (“Yarn Atelier”, “we”, “us”). Contact: support@yarnatelier.co.uk. By submitting an entry, you agree to these terms.
2. Worldwide eligibility and local responsibility
Entry is open worldwide to individuals aged 18 or over, or the age of legal majority in their place of residence if higher, wherever participation and receipt of the reward are lawful. The promotion is void where prohibited by applicable law.
You are responsible for checking that you may lawfully enter and receive the reward in your place of residence. Do not enter if local laws prohibit participation or require an authorisation that you do not have. By entering, you confirm your eligibility. We may request reasonable evidence where there is a genuine eligibility question.
You are responsible for any personal tax reporting obligations and taxes lawfully payable by you in connection with receiving or using a reward. This does not transfer obligations that the law places on Yarn Atelier, or require you to pay a fee to us to claim a reward.
Owners, employees and people directly involved in running the promotion, and members of their immediate households, may not enter. New and existing customers otherwise participate on equal terms.
3. Opening and closing
The hunt opens when Yarn Atelier publishes its first official October 2026 pumpkin hunt launch post and activates the entry form. It closes on 31 October 2026 at 23:59 Europe/London. This is UK local time, with the applicable daylight-saving change. The form’s submission timestamp determines whether an entry arrived in time. Entries received after closing are not eligible.
4. How to enter
We have hidden two promotional pumpkins in the photographs on two different yarn product pages at www.yarnatelier.co.uk. Find both and submit the two product page links, together with your email address and eligibility declaration, through the official form at form before closing.
The two links may be entered in either order. Both must identify the correct products. Equivalent product links containing variant or tracking parameters are accepted. Where the form permits product names instead of links, the names must identify the products unambiguously. Two links to the same product do not count as finding both pumpkins.
No purchase, payment, newsletter subscription, social follow, tag or share is required. Buying, following or sharing does not increase your chance of winning. Ordinary internet-access costs may apply. If you need an accessible way to take part, contact us before closing; equivalent entries receive the same treatment.
5. One person, one entry
There is one eligible entry and a maximum of one main prize per person, regardless of the number of email addresses or accounts used. You must use an email address you control and give accurate information.
You may correct your answers by resubmitting with the same email before closing; your latest complete submission replaces the earlier one. Contact us before closing if you need to correct your email. We may exclude duplicate, automated, bulk, fictitious or fraudulent entries, impersonation and attempts to manipulate the draw. We will make exclusions on reasonable grounds and retain the reason. A shared household or internet connection alone is not evidence of abuse.
Social comments, direct messages and tags are not entries unless we expressly designate them as an equivalent accessible route. We do not award additional entries for engagement.
6. Main prizes
- First distinct winner drawn: store credit equivalent to £100 GBP.
- Second distinct winner drawn: store credit equivalent to £50 GBP.
- Third distinct winner drawn: store credit equivalent to £30 GBP.
To qualify for the draw, your entry must satisfy these terms and identify both pumpkin products correctly. Incorrect or ineligible entries do not qualify for the draw.
Rewards are personal, non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash or a different reward. Credit has no minimum purchase requirement. All credit issued under this promotion expires at 23:59 Europe/London on 31 December 2026. Any unused promotional balance expires at that time, subject to mandatory legal rights. No purchase or payment is required to receive it.
7. The draw
We will select the three distinct main prize winners at random from all eligible correct entries within seven calendar days after closing. The draw will use a verifiably random computer process, or take place under the supervision of an independent observer, with evidence retained. Each eligible entrant has an equal chance of being selected. One person cannot win more than one main prize.
We may select ordered reserves using the same process. If fewer than three eligible correct entrants take part, prizes will be allocated in draw order to those entrants, with any remaining main prizes unawarded.
8. Notification, acceptance and delivery
We will email main prize winners within seven calendar days after closing. Winners have 14 calendar days from the first notification to reply and confirm acceptance and the email for their Yarn Atelier customer profile. We will make reasonable contact attempts, including a reminder, before treating a prize as unclaimed.
We will issue accepted main prizes within seven calendar days of acceptance and normally within 30 calendar days after closing. We may ask you to verify control of your email before credit is released; this is not a marketing subscription. If verification is required, we will explain the steps, allow 14 calendar days and send a reminder.
A main prize may pass to a reserve entrant if the original winner declines it, is ineligible or fails to accept after reasonable contact attempts. If the reserve has already received promotional credit from this hunt, we will top it up so their total hunt credit equals the main prize value. Credit legitimately spent will not be retrospectively charged back solely because the person became a reserve winner.
You are responsible for checking your inbox and spam folder and giving us a working email. Contact us if an expected reward message has not arrived. We will investigate delivery problems rather than assume that an email was received.
9. Spending store credit, including internationally
Prize values are stated in GBP. Credit will be issued in the customer’s local checkout currency to the Shopify customer profile linked to their verified email. Conversion will use the exchange rate shown on Google Finance at the time of issuance. The applicable currency and final converted amount are determined at the promoter’s discretion, using that rate as the reference. Once issued, the amount will not be adjusted for later exchange-rate movements. If necessary, we will create a profile solely to deliver the reward. To redeem it online, sign into your Yarn Atelier customer account or use Shop Pay with the same email and select “Apply store credit” at checkout.
Your checkout currency must match the currency of the credit issued. If your local currency is not supported by our checkout, we will agree a supported redemption currency with you before issuing the credit. Credit is applied up to the amount due and unused hunt credit remains available until the expiry stated in clause 6. This does not change unrelated credit balances. If your purchase exceeds your available credit, you must pay the difference by another accepted method.
Worldwide entry does not mean we deliver physical products to every country. Purchases remain subject to the delivery destinations, product availability and prices shown on our website. Check delivery availability for your intended destination before entering. Delivery charges and any import duties, local taxes, bank charges or currency-conversion costs arising from a later purchase are not additional prizes. Delivery charges payable to us are shown at checkout; import charges may be collected separately by local authorities or carriers.
Credit cannot be transferred between people or converted to cash because you cannot redeem it in your location. We will provide reasonable support with account and checkout problems. Nothing in this clause removes our obligation to deliver an advertised reward or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Cancellations and returns
Purchases using credit remain subject to our normal sale and return terms and applicable consumer rights. Refund treatment depends on the original payment method and the rights applicable to the purchase; using promotional credit does not create a right to exchange the promotional reward for cash. Credit issued in error or obtained through proven fraud may be corrected, with an explanation and without removing any rights you hold by law.
11. Results and publicity
We will confirm through our official social channels that main prize awards have taken place. Information demonstrating valid awards will also be available on request for 60 days after closing, ordinarily the main winners’ surnames and counties or equivalent regions.
You may object to disclosure or ask for less information to be made available by contacting us. This does not affect your reward. We may still provide relevant evidence to the ASA or another authority where required. We will not publish email addresses or the full entrant list. Participation in photographs, testimonials or other publicity is optional and requires separate agreement.
12. Personal information
We use entry details to check answers and eligibility, administer the draw, prevent duplicate or fraudulent awards, contact entrants and fulfil rewards. Google hosts the entry form; Shopify handles customer profiles and credit. We use authorised service providers where necessary to administer the promotion.
Newsletter consent, if offered, is separate and optional. Taking part or receiving a reward does not by itself subscribe you to marketing. Our privacy notice explains the applicable lawful bases, service providers, retention periods, international transfers and your rights: Yarn Atelier Privacy Policy. Do not submit sensitive personal documents unless we specifically request proportionate evidence through a secure route.
13. Social-platform independence
This promotion is run by Yarn Atelier. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Google or Shopify. You provide entry information to Yarn Atelier through the designated form, not through a social-platform competition service. To the extent permitted by law, you release Instagram and Facebook from claims arising from their association with this promotion; this does not exclude any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Disruption, abuse and changes
If technical failure, fraud, a legal restriction or another event outside our reasonable control materially prevents the promotion from operating as described, we may pause or extend it, correct a genuine error or make a necessary proportionate change. Any material change will be announced through the same official channels and recorded on this page. We will preserve valid entries and advertised rewards wherever reasonably possible and will not use this clause simply to avoid awarding rewards because more people entered than expected.
We will not move the two pumpkin locations during the published hunt, reduce prize values, introduce a retrospective reward cap or require an unannounced purchase. Where a legal prohibition prevents a particular entry or reward, we will explain the reason and act as required by applicable law.
15. Responsibility and liability
You are responsible for accurate submissions, control of your email, your internet access and compliance with laws that apply to your own participation. We are not responsible for an entry failing solely because of your incorrect information or a failure of your device or connection. This does not excuse faults in our administration or remove our duty to respond fairly to a documented problem.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing waives mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. No clause requires you to reimburse our regulatory penalties or assumes that your acceptance makes an unlawful promotion lawful.
16. Decisions, complaints and applicable law
We determine eligibility and administer the draw reasonably under these terms. We will review a substantiated complaint or correction request; our decisions do not remove your right to seek independent advice, complain to a relevant authority or use a court.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Its courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in your place of residence. If a clause is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply where lawful.
Questions or complaints: support@yarnatelier.co.uk. Please identify the promotion and the email used for your entry.
