About us
A tiny atelier with big ambitions and yarn under our fingernails.
Yarn Atelier started the way most real things do: in a cramped room, late at night, with a half-finished project on the table and a stubborn belief that beautiful materials deserve a beautiful home. No investors, no glossy boardroom, just two people juggling a toddler, a dream, and an alarming number of yarn cones.
We are a small, family-run studio built on the oldest formula in the book. Work until your eyes hurt. Fix whatever breaks. Celebrate when things finally click. Repeat.
What kept us going wasn’t strategy or spreadsheets. It was the quiet thrill you get when you touch a perfect fibre. The pride of sending someone a yarn so good it changes the way they knit. The certainty that luxury materials shouldn’t be locked behind industry gates or lost in craft-store chaos.
We curate Italian and Swiss yarns that make your hands slow down and pay attention. Every cake is wound carefully in our dedicated workspace. Every order is checked, rechecked and wrapped like it’s leaving a tiny couture workshop, because it is. Behind the scenes, our days are a patchwork of family life and focused studio time, stitched together with the same stubborn devotion we bring to our craft.
We’re not trying to be the biggest. Just the most intentional.
If you’re here, you probably already know what good yarn feels like. You know the satisfaction of a clean palette, a well-spun fibre, a swatch that makes you grin. You know that materials matter. So do we.
Thanks for supporting our little atelier, chaos and all. Every cone you buy keeps this small, stubborn, yarn-obsessed family pushing forward.
